When I have a channel selected that has a scroller attached, then use the color picker display, is there a way to have it show the scroller frames instead of the color wheel? It seems like I should be able to look at selection boxes that show the color and number for what I'm using.
if you use the ML Virtual controls, you'll get what you're looking for.

The Colour Picker is a painter's colour wheel that can be used for pretty much anything that can change colour.- If it's a colour mixing device (eg CMY, RGB, Selador), it will use the colour mixing to give you the target colour.- For fixtures like scrollers, it's a fast way to get the 'closest frame' to your chosen colour.
The Encoders and on-screen ML Controls on the other hand give you the list of colours that the fixture really has. - For scrollers, it shows the frame labels (on the Scroller encoder) and a colour chip (on screen ML Controls)
The onscreen ML Controls are under Browser > Virtual Controls.
(Of course, all this is assuming that you've told the console which gels are in the scroll)
Keep on trying till you run out of cake.
Barter, which desk are you using?

Thanks for all your suggestions. I did find what I was looking for under the Virtual moving light controls. Anne, we have the Ion 1000 running version 1.8 (upgraded from beta) with the 2x10 fader wing. Speaking of which, we are still having issues with the wing not working very often. It's attached to the console, and usually boots, but when the show is loaded, rarely does the screen display or the wing work. Sometimes it seems that its dependent on which show file is open, but is inconsistent.
You might try upgrading to 1.8.1. Let us know if you are still seeing the issue after that software upgrade.
Thanks much!
