Hi everybody.

I wish to create an effect with 5 steps, first step: all values of cue 7 ( 6 different lights), step 2 blackout, step 3 values of sub 41 at full, step 4 values of cue 12, step 5 ch 5 at 45 + ch 10 at 72 + ch 12 thru 16 at 66.

How to do ?

Thanx a lot for helping me out

Not to be snarky, but doesn't the manual explain how to create a step effect?

Shurly it does, but a step based effect allows only ONE value per step, for exemple: all involved channels are on 70% - they call it "on state". In my example, one should be on 70%, the other on 66% and so on . . . ???

Not so easy at it seems, and no explanation in the manual, not even for snarks....

Luzius,

In a non snarky way:

You can actually put more than just a percentage value in the 'On' field. You could create an Intensity palette with the required levels, then place the IP in the On field. The same goes for any type of pallette or Preset.

...and the same goes for the 'Off' field.

Also, if you want to quickly place all the channels in a particular Cue or Sub in an effect step you could say:

Effect 1 Step 1 Group Cue 5

or

Group Sub 7 etc etc etc
