Hi.

I have crash system on imprtant event. It was yesterday.

Designer have pre-programed console and use only submasters on  2x20 wing. In one time there is ETC  screen with crash info.

What can be a reason?

Can I use a PC ( congo offline) to have a backup?

Hi Michal -

I'm very sorry you had a crash. Please copy the log/dmp file on the console (Browser>Files>Copy log/dmp files to USB) and send to Congo@etcconnect.com. Then we can investigate the problem directly.

Hi Michal -

We don't support using a PC as a backup at this time. Another Congo, Congo jr or Congo Light Server can be used as a backup.

I have carash big congo today and yesterday my crew have the same problem. Now in the Theatre we have 3 desk's. 2 juniors and one bigone. On two desk's in last two weks we have few crashes.

Maybe problem is in V6 and compatibility with  files from V4 and V5 versions...

Today evening crash locked all functions and I must plug OFF the cable?

May I install V5?

I am sorry to hear about the crashes.

We have seen some strange problems in v6. We are working hard to solve this as soon as possible. I don't believe that this is caused by incompatible data from v4 or v5. It is related to v6.

Have you been doing any programming on v6? Because of the large changes to the internal structure (preset numbers and time resolution), it isn't possible to load a play that has been saved in v6 into v5.x. At least not in a 100% predictable way.

As soon as we have a solution, we will let you know.
