I'm about to use multiPAR strip lights for the first time on a cyc that is 30 feet high.  I'm curious what experiences people have had trying to get as even a field from top to bottom.

Some questions:  whats the optimum distance from the units to the cyc, is closer better or does distance help?

Beam angle, MFL, WFL, VWFL?

Any info appreciated.

Thanks

I love my multi-pars as my ground row. I have WFL's in them. Our cyc is also 30' high. I am lighting from the top with Strand Iris units. The multi-pars are centered between the cyc and the bounce. You have to play with the angle a bit but you end up with a nice even wash.
