Is there a way to quickly control the playback speed of effects in a live programming/live music environment? It's incredibly unwieldy in the middle of a live show to have to type in the number of the effect (which I usually don't remember anyway), and then change the rate on the encoder. It would be cool if each cuelist fader could be assigned as a speed or rate control for any effects outputting on that playback. Any chance that this is possible already? Ethan

Ethan, rate control of effects only on the playbacks, other than through the effect status display isn't currently supported.

That is a feature that we could look to implement as we begin to look at tools specific for live events.

Thanks,

In that case, how to I edit the rate of an effect if it is running on two different channel groups on two different playbacks? When I go into the effects status display, I can see the effect twice on the list, yet it will only let me control one playback...

You might try copying the effect.  This way each group is actually running exactely the same effect and you have control over both!

What I normally do is touch (or click on the ion) the line on the effect status for effect I want to modify, then all I have to do is turn the encoder for rate.
