hi there,
The EOS/ION manual says to use the "FILTER" button for manipulating, (adding or removing) filters. The ION doesn't seem to have that button. The ION manual seems to ignore that fact. How do you remove the filters, on the ION?
When will a true ION manual be issued? Since this is a word-processing and human-brain issue, why didn't ETC issue a ION manual instead of putting an ION cover on the EOS manual? It is not a big hardware item.
Inquiring minds are inquiring.
The filters "button" is on the left half of the CIA. Click that with the mouse and then you can apply filters.

Thank you.
I found that button, instead of the allnps button, about 2 minutes after sending that "where is the &#@%* clear filter" message.
Hi Marty,
The Ion manual on our website shows the Filter button in the CIA on PDF page 180 (labelled as page 166). You should be able to access that version here: http://www.etcconnect.com/docs/docs_downloads/manuals/Ion_v1.4_Operations_Manual_RevB.pdf .
If you received an Ion labelled binder with a printed Eos manual inside -- give a call to your local ETC Tech Support and we should be able to get you out a replacement that's a real Ion manual.
