I am running v1.4.3 on a loaner (long story) ION desk.  I am having a problem with the American DJ Accu Spot 250 II units.  There is not a profile for them in the console, so I made one.  They all function normally and as expected except pan does not respond.  If I swop pan and tilt in the profile, pan works on the tilt wheel but tilt does not respond.  The really weird thing is the attribute responds to raw DMX (address 1 at full enter=pan responds).  The encoder is fine since the other movers in the plot respond normally.

Where do we go from here?  Can the awesome ETC team create a profile for me?  It would be extra helpful to not have to send control channel commands via "address 8 at 60 enter"  just to douse the lamp.

I have attached a copy of the show file.

Hi,

I just looked at your show, and I couldn't find anything wrong with your custom fixture.  I could see that both the pan and tilt wheels were sending data.  I would make extra sure that the fixture itself is addressed correctly but I assume that the rest of the parameters are working as expected.  Another wild guess-  the pan parameter only for only those channels Parked or Captured somehow?  Yeah, too wild.

Since you swapped parameters in the fixture profile and that worked, try calling it something else and using a different wheel altogether.

Good Luck, B

Sorry about the delay in replying.  We'll look at your profile first thing in the morning and let you know if we see anything.  Will have a follow on regarding getting you an actual profile for this device.

Thanks for your patience.  Back soon.

We will have a library patch with this fixture on Tuesday, March 31st (sorry, the library folk are a bit backlogged at the moment).
