I've discovered how to open tabs on the client that don't have a keyboard equivilant, specifically the master playback window.

It seems that the client starts with whatever tabs the server has at the server's startup (whatever tabs were open the last time you shutdown).  I would suggest locking tabs you can't open from the client (Setup + Tab)

Hi,

All tabs should be possible to open on a Client with a keyboard hotkey, keyboard shortcut or through the Browser. Do you have any specific tabs that you cannot open in this way?

I couldn't find a way to open the master playback window.  It's opened on the console by holding connect and pressing a master key when there is a sequence on that master.

This tab is quite special, as it ties the Master to the facepanel Master Playback keys.

In Offline it can be opened using the Console Mimic Dock - click on a virtual button while holding 'Ctrl' to hold that key down.

Unfortunately I can't try this on a Client until Monday.

Keep on trying till you run out of cake.

I hadn't looked much at the console mimic dock before.  Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work.

If you Ctrl click on the Connect key the keyboard shortcut for format (F4) no longer works to change to the masters portion of the console mimic so you can't click on the master key.  Instead it's like you're holding Connect and pressing Format.

Format it a few more times - one of the formats is the entire facepanel.

Keep on trying till you run out of cake.

Oops.  I wasn't looking close enough.  That did it.

Thanks,
