Hello our theatre got new Congo just before Christmas and now we are learning to control that nice console. But today when we made following changes the console get stuck.
We changed some backlight and contrast on LCD then we tick "Bypase Startup Screen" and we have changed Location to "Czech republic". After that we turned off the console and than turned on. On the monitor appear the following message - Runtime Error, Program: C:\congo\congo.exe. This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unsusual way. Please contact the application's suport team for more information - And then what to do? The only thing what we can do now is push to "OK" then the message disappear and after that console get suck. On both monitors is sign "CONGO" and on all LCD too except one where is appeared graphic keyboard. Track ball can move with arrow on the monitor. We do not have an external keyboard. Version of software is 5. We stil have our old consol so we don't have any stress.

Please what is the solution?
Thank's a lot Tom

Hi there -

The problem is that the region has been changed. This will be fixed in the upcoming v5.1 release, but in the mean time you should go back into Settings and change the locale back to the US. This should solve the problem.

I'm very sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks -

Sarah

Hi Tom,

I am assuming you are coming from the Czech Republic? Send me a PM with your phone number, and

we can give you a call today and walk you through some trouble shooting steps.

It will really help if you find an external keyboard to use for this troubleshooting. .

and I will give you a call back and get your congo working.

Hi

I too have this message but on my works laptop (Sony Vaio) and my assistant laptop (Dell 1521), They are on XP and Vista.

Any thoughts on this.

It runs on my Hp Laptop just fine.

Hope all had a stress free Christmas and New Year.
