Patching Multi Dimmers to Independent channels on the ML. Can it be done?

Will -

Do you mean the "Independent" buttons?
If so, then no, I don't think so - I believe only one DMX channel can be assigned to each of the 2 Independant Buttons.

If you meant "individual" channels on the desk, then yes - you can patch multiple DMX dimmers onto one of the 48 channels of the console.

I must say that handling of the Independents on the ML is confusing for me. On the regular Smartfade they were simple Channels that showed up in Patch as i1 and i2 and could have any number of dimmers patched to them. I cannot seem to do that on the ML and the dialogue for handling them is confusing. I prefer the old handling.

Due to customer demand for a facility to patch multiple DMX addresses to each Independent channel we will change the patching method in a future version.  We will probably return to the SmartFade method where Independents are patched in the Patch Channel menu.

I do not have a fixed date for this.  It will not make it into the very next version but will be after that, as soon as we can.
