Shining Light On: African Ingenuity

Here's something that should get the attention of the R&D crowd (I think they're reading this blog...):

Found by way of Signal vs. Noise, this post shares some of the more fascinating highlights from a site titled, "AfriGadget", where contributors share stories - often with videos and photos - of some ingenious individuals that use what little they have to solve real problems in amazing ways. Innovation certainly comes in many forms.

We live here & see these claims regularly. Lets first get a video of it flying before we applaud. We get so cross when they build gadgets that are seen in books & elicit funding for further development & you never hear from them again. Remember Africa has some of the greatest story tellers (look at how many people are caught by the 419 scams)

If it works-power to the creator. We will all applaud!!!
